Question 1

What is OATHERA?

Accepted Answer

OATHERA is an agentic identity platform. It gives every AI agent a cryptographically verifiable identity that a human approves, that expires in minutes, and that only works on the machine it was issued for, so every agent action is checked and least-privilege by default.

Question 2

How is OATHERA different from an API key?

Accepted Answer

A shared API key never changes and cannot tell you who is using it. OATHERA issues short-lived, sender-constrained credentials bound to an agent's private key and the machine it runs on, so a copied credential stops working and every agent traces back to a named human who approved it.

Question 3

Who makes OATHERA?

Accepted Answer

OATHERA is developed by 1Kosmos and is also referred to in technical documentation as KYA (Know Your Agent). A live demonstration of the agent identity flow is available at https://sim.1kosmos.ai.
